Your contact details stay private
MatchWorks does not display your mobile number or email address to other players. Potential partners see only the first name or nickname you choose, your playing level and relevant playing location and availability. After both players express interest, MatchWorks relays their conversation privately by text.
Anything you choose to type in a message is visible to your conversation partner. Authorized operators and service providers may process messages to run, support, and secure the service; this is not end-to-end encryption. A recipient may retain, copy, or take screenshots of delivered messages, and MatchWorks cannot remove those copies.
You control your participation
Enrollment offers an explicit Yes or No choice, with neither selected in advance. Choose No to leave without joining or receiving a verification text; no enrollment fields are required for No. Choose Yes, confirm your age and policy agreement, and verify your phone before participation is activated. Match suggestions and private conversations arrive by text. Reply STOP at any time to deactivate texts and matching, or HELP for assistance. STOP does not delete your account; the Privacy Notice explains how to request deletion and the limited safety and legal records MatchWorks may retain. Conversations do not switch to email.
Private follow-up, never public ratings
MatchWorks may send a scheduling reminder and ask for optional feedback after an agreed introduction. Feedback and requests not to be paired again stay private. MatchWorks does not publish ratings, reviews or negative player labels.
Phone verification and returning access
New players who choose Yes prove control of their phone by sending the verification text shown on the enrollment page. Returning confirmed players can request a private, one-use sign-in link by text. Verification codes and sign-in links expire after 20 minutes. A confirmed browser session can remain active for up to 30 days.
